I am wondering if any ex-pats on this forum live some or all of the time in Cyprus and if so, what your thoughts are. Do you love it there? Miss home i.e. UK, USA or wherever your home country is. What are the pros and cons of living in Cyprus apart from about 320 days of sunshine a year?.

Places in France

I would recommend the Dordogne, or Perigord region of southwest France. This area is not as heavily traveled and is magnificent. The beautiful Dordogne river winds through the area. Pick the region near Sarlat, a beautiful medieval village, just a few miles from other great castles, Domme, Beynac, Castelnaud, La Roque Gageac, and Chateau des Milandes, the former chateau and home of the great American star, Josephine Baker. first time in france...

Head down the Loire to the great chateau of Chenonceau - it is the most beautiful of the Loire Valley castles. Then head south to Brantome, often called similar to Venice. My favorite area after that is south of there in the Dordogne Valley, not so visited by some, but enchanting - Sarlat, Domme, La Roque Gajeac, Beynac - all within a few miles of each other, perfect to explore for 3-4 days. When in ROME: Restaurants in Rome

Hey, I found THE best restaurant in Rome, I can't for my life remember the name of it though! It was just at the bottom of the Spanish steps and was amazing!!!! It had beautifull pizzas (doesn't narrow it down in Rome i Know). It was jut next door to out hotel though, if you check it out [deleted] you might know where it is. Definitely Spain: it's true that Spain offers the best value. this summer I went on holidays close to Barcelona, on the Costa Brava: well, It was cheaper for me going to Spain (booking a plane, train tickets,....) instead of staying in Italy (my homecountry) and use my car....
